This is when I start to bite my nails...

School. Almost failed another test. Midterms. He bumped it up from a 67% to 70%. Yay. But I'm doing bad still. Shit. And Melanie might drop. Leaving me with a ginormous lab to do. Aghh.

Then AVRIL! Haaa she's actually quite good live, contrary to popular belief. Laura, Ronnie and I sang our hearts out.. yaw. She did American Idiot and that other whoohoo song, I don't know what its called. EVAN'S GUITAR SOLO WAS SO HOT. Damn I want to rape him. Anyway. I'm partially deaf and lost some of my voice. -hack-. Shall see how the camera phone pictures turn out =D.

whoohoo song: Blur - Song 2

Possibly the most over-covered song ever besides blitzkrieg bop.

Right. That's the one =P. What the hell is blitzkrieg bop?

Omg, y'know, that song by the ramones...that gets played at every single sporting event ever.

HEY HO, LETS GO.

OHHHHHHHHH. I don't get the 'blitzkrieg' part.

Well, the ramones mostly didn't make sense w/ all their songs.

As far as I can tell, the song is about a live show, and how all the kids are going crazy dancing and whatnot, and I guess "blitzkrieg" or "lightning war" is a metaphor for their live shows. Either the band's live stage presence is like "lightning war", or just being in the club itself and the mayhem of all the kids dancing their hearts out (which was yet to be seen at a concerts i suppose up until then).

I've heard her cover System Of A Down's 'Chop SUey'. It was soo badd. I suppose she's not really awful live, in general tho.
dun-na-na-na na-na dun-na-na-na-na na-na da-na-na-na-na na-na BLITZKRIEG BOP. I remember living about bleitzkrieg in my history class two years ago, and all i could think about was that song.
oh and CONGRATS on your mark. Its good for fzx in summer school. Good luck with that, don't become a drop out like me =P

In general, her covers really suck. American Idiot wasn't too bad. Maybe cause her band played it really accurately and she was in tune. Dunno what else would have made it better. And the other Blur song was fine cause she wasn't singing in it =P. One of her guitarists was. She was on drums. Lala quite interesting, really.

Haha true. I know. My brother plays it to his cd all the time.

Damn you I actually got one of those soundclick account things. Now I probably won't use it for another 5 years or something, lol.
